Berard France

Since 1892, Bérard France has specialized in creating true French hand-crafted artisan items for the kitchen and home. Located in the mountains of Royans, which border the northern edge of Provence, their skilled craftsmen use their extensive experience and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment to create the best in quality and design.

Their products highlight the natural beauty and function of wood. They have created an extensive range of cooking utensils for use in the kitchen, in addition to beautiful display and serving pieces for the table as well.

Berard France believes in environmental sustainability and no wood is wasted. Their olive wood items are produced from old trees which no longer bear fruit. Any offcuts not suitable for production are used to heat the drying chamber and the building in the winter. All olivewood items come from agricultural orchards and each tree is cut with respect to the laws that protect each country and the use of olive wood. All items in beech wood, box wood or cherry wood come from FSC certified forests.

Uniformity does not exist and the little “imperfections” belong to this natural product. No two pieces are exactly alike.
